You simply can’t talk about pickup trucks without Ford entering the conversation. Continuing to carry on the Ford Tough tradition, the 2020 Ford Ranger is a midsize pickup truck perfect for fun, work, and weekend adventures.
A Truck Everyone Can Love
Ford’s midsize pickup truck, the 2020 Ranger is available in three trim levels and two body styles. The XL, XLT, and Lariat trims are all available as either a SuperCab with seating for four and a 6-foot bed or a SuperCrew with room for five and a 5-foot bed.
The base XL level comes with 16-inch steel wheels, automatic headlights, and a manually locking tailgate. The XLT adds alloy wheels, along with two available package upgrades. The 301A package adds power-folding mirrors and a choice of the Chrome, Sport, and Black exterior appearance. The 302A package continues to build off the 301A package, adding remote engine start and a manual-sliding read window.
The top Lariat level includes all features from the 301A and 302A upgrade packages found at the XLT level as standard features, along with LED headlights.
Ready for Any Adventure
Ford understands that raw torque matters when rumbling up, over, and through rugged terrain. This is one reason why 2020 Rangers come with an EcoBoost 2.3-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine that pairs with a class-exclusive 10-speed automatic transmission to deliver 270 horsepower and 310 pound-feet of torque.
If you’re driving a truck, there’s little doubt you’re also carrying and hauling gear. The 2020 Ranger doesn’t disappoint with its best-in-class maximum payload rating of 1,860 pounds and an impressive 7,500-pound tow rating, letting you confidently set out on wherever your next adventure takes you.
Style and Comfort Inside
Whether working or having fun, you want to be comfortable and connected in your pickup cab. The 2020 Ford Ranger helps keep you connected from the start, with its base XL trim coming with FordPass Connect with 4G LTE Wi-Fi hotspot, single-zone air conditioning, four-speaker audio system, and an auto-dimming rearview mirror. Upgrade with the available 101A package and add cruise control, a six-speaker audio system, a larger central display screen, and power mirrors.
The middle XLT trim adds standard features such as a 110-volt power outlet, an 8-inch touch screen, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay integration, dual-zone automatic climate control, and keyless entry. This trim also offers three package upgrades, starting with the 301A, which adds a leather-wrapped steering wheel and the 302A package, which includes heated, power-adjustable front seats. The Technology package is available with either the 301A or 302A packages and brings with it front parking sensors, adaptive cruise control, and a navigation system.
Finally, reaching the Lariat level entitles you to much of the package upgrades as standard features, along with leather upholstery. The Lariat also offers the 501A package, featuring a remote engine start, a 10-speaker Bang & Olufsen sound system, and automatic wipers.
Ford Co-Pilot360
