Whether you live in the Loganville area, or just find yourself passing through, enjoy the outdoors at one of these six parks and gardens.
Destination Park
Located on Tuck Road in Loganville, Destination Park is the perfect place to enjoy the outdoors. Whether you are looking to take a private stroll or bring the kids out for the afternoon, the park has numerous shaded trails, a covered pavilion to enjoy a picnic, a toddler play area, and a playground for children 5 years of age and older.
Tribble Mill Park
Tribble Mill Park, in Lawrenceville, is a great place to enjoy an afternoon of walking, picnicking, or playing. The park is equipped with non-paved hiking, mountain biking, and equestrian trails. Enjoy some fishing on the beautiful lake or just observe the beautiful scenery during your walk. Don’t forget to bring the kids along; they’ll enjoy the playground.
Meridian Park
With more than a mile of walking trails around a lake, as well as benches to stop and rest, Meridian Park is the perfect park for those looking to exercise at any age. Come to the park for the Fishing Derbies or just experience some leisurely fishing during the afternoon. If you are not an avid angler, you can still relish the amazing lake views while your children get some energy out on the playground.
West Walton Park
Found on Twin Lake Parks Road in Loganville, West Walton Park is a 50-acre park perfect for sport enthusiasts who want to engage with their community. Watch a local baseball, softball, or football game at one of the eight softball/baseball fields or two football fields. Aside from the numerous playing fields, West Walton Park also has two playground areas, walking paths, a pavilion, and three concession stands.
Vines Gardens
Vines Gardens is 79 acres of beautifully landscaped area, perfect for taking in some amazing views. The park includes a half-mile walking trail, a pavilion, and even a lake. Yet, what Vines Garden is most known for is its Garden Railroad. The railroad is an amazing trail of gorgeous buds, shrubs, flowers, and other foliage that furthers adds to the scenery.
Bay Creek Park
If you are looking for a park that is full of action, schedule your walk through the Bay Creek Park. The park has seven softball and baseball diamonds, a football field equipped with a lighted walking track, basketball courts, four tennis courts, and a lighted skate area. There is also a mile-long paved walking trail, as well as a pavilion with a grill to enjoy an afternoon of cooking out.
