Whether you want to get some exercise or watch the kids play, here are some of the best parks to spend the afternoon in Loganville.

Destination Park

Destination Park sits on Tuck Road and has a toddler play area and a larger playground for kids who are five years and older. This park also has walking trails with plenty of shade so you can enjoy them even on warmer days, and there is a pavilion you can reserve if you want to have a birthday party or family get-together at the park.

Vines Park

Vines Park on Oak Grove Road in Loganville covers 80 acres of land and features a small pond and pretty walking trails. The pond has turtles and fish for the kids to see, and there is even a model railroad display for the whole family to enjoy. A half-mile paved walking path winds around the pond and crosses over several bridges along the way. There are also beautiful flowers and plants, impressive statues, and a garden railroad. A pavilion offers shade and a place for a picnic, and you can even reserve it if you want to have a private gathering. Vines Park is also a popular place for weddings.

West Walton Park

West Walton Park on Twin Lakes Road encompasses 50 acres and features eight baseball and softball fields, and two football fields. This park also has two playgrounds and walking trails that wind all through the park and even lead over to Meridian Park. There are three concession stands that open up during sporting events, and a covered pavilion that is available for rent if you want to have a birthday party or host a family event at the park. West Walton Park has public restrooms and plenty of parking, making this a great place to spend the whole afternoon whether you want to watch a game or just enjoy the fresh air.

Bay Creek Park

Bay Creek Park sits on Ozora Road and features a handicapped-accessible ball field and a playground designed for kids with special needs. There are also seven different baseball and softball fields, a football field with a lighted walking track around it, and several playgrounds for kids of all ages. A lighted skate complex allows the kids to skate even after the sun goes down, and the lighted tennis courts mean you can play tennis after dark too. This park also has basketball courts, a lighted trail that winds around the park, and a pavilion for picnics.

Loganville has a number of parks where you can spend the afternoon relaxing or watching the kids play. You can even take in a youth football or softball game while you are there or take advantage of the lighted areas and head over for some exercise after work.
